ABOUT BARBETTE EDWARDS

Barbette Edwards brings you 32 years of salon experience. She specializes in all types of hair. A master stylist and color specialist in the art of working with excessively curly hair,natural and relaxed hair. Maintaining and keeping your hair healthy is Barbette’s primary focus. Designing a hair style that reflects your personal lifestyle is her forte!

After graduating high school in Eastern Washington, Barbette moved to Seattle and attended Seattle Central Community College. In 1985 she completed her Cosmetology program and went to work for Glemby International at The Bon Marche' (now Macy’s). From there, Barbette was recruited and joined the team at Salon Columbia in the Columbia tower, Seattle. A few years later, Barbette relocated to Tukwila, Washington where she leased a station for about six months until her and her husband purchased the salon. Barbette owned and operated the salon successfully for seven years, after which she moved her clientele to Federal Way area while her and her husband began raising their family. Now that the family has grown up, 25 years later, she has come full circle back to Tukwila, where she is ready to service all of your hair care needs.
